Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

This depends on the camera.

Most systems have individual cameras that feed into a recorder box (DVR), and are typically wired with standard coax cable, with the addition of 2 small wires, usually 18ga, for power. There is a special cable made for this with both together that you can buy premade and also preterminated: http://amzn.to/1UOomIE

that type is bundled with most packaged camera systems. You can also use your own if running in wall, which is better quality, but you have to terminate the ends: http://amzn.to/1UOouIn

Some cameras however are network cameras and use ethernet (cat6) cable.
