You have to set the cell number format to percentage first.
Then the formula for VAT would be:=C9*0,8
where C9 is the cell with 100 pound total.
The total including VAT would be:
or you can sum the total and VAT
where C10 is the cell with =C9*0,8
It sounds complicated this way, let me prepare an example.
Oh, sorry, I made a mistake
it should be:=C9*0,2
Please have a look at the example:
The formulas to the right of numbers are what should go into the cells instead of the numbers.
