Hi,

Thanks for using JustAnswer.com to ask your question, I am Cris.

Can you tell me what specifically are you trying to reduce text size of?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

The text on my screen is too large and it makes the screen page to big for my laptop

OK,

There are two ways you can change text and overall size of your screen.

Click on the windows logo start button, then click on Control Panel.

In the control panel box top right there is a search box type in resolution.

Now you will see Display appear with link for "Adjust screen Resolution" & Make text and other items larger or smaller.

First try to change your resolution which might be your issue. Click on adjust screen resolution. In the resolution drop down change it so it is portional to your screen. It all depends on the size of your screen as to where it should be.

If this still doesn't fix the issue go back and click on Make text smaller or larger. By default it is set to smaller, if it is larger or medium change it to smaller. Then you will have to log off and log back in for it to take affect.

Let me know the outcome. Reply back to me BEFORE selecting any negative rating. I will answer your follow ups.
