Hello, I'm sean and I hope to help, so your printer, Canon's website says it DOES have wireless capabilities. Do you not have a home network / Router?

s_feehan :

And to confirm, this is your printer here right? http://www.canon-europe.com/For_Home/Product_Finder/Printers/Inkjet/PIXMA_MG4150/

JACUSTOMER-2b6dt88c- :

Hello Sean, yes I confirm the MG4150 is my printer, and I do have a home router

s_feehan :

Okay excellent, that printer does have wireless capabilities unless there is a malfunction in the printer I am not aware of?

s_feehan :

You would need to set that printer up at the printer itself, using the LCD interface on the upper left.

s_feehan :

It will likely be under the setup features.

s_feehan :

That will have a comprehensive list of how to use your printer, specifically, the wireless lan

s_feehan :

After the printer is set up on the network, you can have your iPad use it.

s_feehan :

This link here should be EXACTLY what we're looking at

s_feehan :

It even gives diagrams and descriptions to print over the Wireless Network

s_feehan :

Hey are you still there?

s_feehan :

'I saw you had a brief problem

JACUSTOMER-2b6dt88c- :

thanx for your help I now need time to try the set up you forwarded.Dave

s_feehan :

No problem Dave, thanks, I'm glad you were able to make it back here

s_feehan :

For future reference in the upper right you should see "My Questions"

s_feehan :

You can navigate back here at any time.

s_feehan :

Dave I'm going to step away myself for a bit, I will be able to get back with you via my smartphone but I'm confident that the above links with CAnon will have everything yoiu need to set up the printer

s_feehan :

The only steps we haven't covered which I'm a little unsure on is the iPad set up

s_feehan :

I'm not too familiar with iOS

s_feehan :

But I know it's under there!

s_feehan :

:)

JACUSTOMER-2b6dt88c- :

O.K.Sean, I'll give it a go .

s_feehan :
