My BT internet connection drops

My BT internet connection drops out from time to time, particularly with Mac products. I phoned a few weeks ago and the helpful technician asked me to instal new filters on the phone line. This I did and the problem became a little less. It is back as badly as before. He said he could see this problem and if the new filters didn't work maybe the router would have to be replaced. I want you to do a reset of the BT Hub please.

On the back of it is a Reset button.

Hold this in for a full 10 seconds, then release.

Wait 5 minutes for the reset to complete and internet to come back.

Then test and tell me if the MAC now functions correctly please.
