Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Sure no problem

do you know what current display resoultion is ?>
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

1920 x 1080

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Thanks

So to be clear you have a Custom Screen saver Picture ?

And this dose not go all the way to the Edge ?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Thats correct

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Perfect ok lets do a test first , if you change to one of the window themes , dose it cover correctly ?

This way we call rule out any resolution issues

Once done let me know
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No it stays the same

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Ok

Please do this

Right click the desktop > Click Personalization

At the bottom you will see

"desktop Background"

Click that

then at the bottom again you will

"picture position"

Try Fill , fit and stretch

Let me know if they changes anything

Cheers James

Nothing changes

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Thanks

without seeing your Screen it hard to see exactly what is happening

what happens if you change the resolution from 1920 x 1080 down ?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

It fills horizontally ( the width) but leaves a black border top and bottom

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Right thanks , but at 1920x1080 the width is not filled ?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

no thats right

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Ok thanks

Looks like a resolution issue after all then

So can you try a few lower that 1920x1080 and see if you can get correct.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Well yes but the clarity is lost. The machine is saying that 1920 x 1080 is the recommended resolution. Are we now at the conclusion?

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Ok

You will use a little bit of clarity

1920x1080 Is the Reccomed resoultion just like the same for my 2 , 22inch screens but one dosent run at that.

If you have the full screen and picture is fully across then your good to go.

Cheers James

Thanks for trying but I feel I am no further forward. Having just bought a machine that says it's borderless it now seems it isn't.

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.

No Problem without accessing the machine and seeing exactly what you want i cant do much more
