hi,i have accidently messed up my moms laptop. I read that setting up a user account would limit what she could or couldnt do with it as shes nervous with it. I didnt set up a password XXXXX her and i cant make any changes to her computor as no password XXXXX How is this undone. Simple answer please as i am not much good with computors

No, simply setting up password won't alter present situation rather it prompts for password before profile loads

It only happens when you change profile type (administrator or standard ). You know it won't happen when we set password.
