Which emails are you trying to access exactly and what happens when you try to login?

emails to my openworld acct. I can log in but no new emails have come in since thursday

Are you using a POP3 / IMAP based account or are you simply logging in using a Web Browser?

That doesn't make much sense as that would mean that there was an issue on their server. Try sending a test email to it using another email service entirely and see if it comes through. Let me know what happens.
