Which emails are you trying to access exactly and what happens when you try to login?

emails to my openworld acct. I can log in but no new emails have come in since thursday

Are you using a POP3 / IMAP based account or are you simply logging in using a Web Browser?

That doesn't make much sense as that would mean that there was an issue on their server. Try sending a test email to it using another email service entirely and see if it comes through. Let me know what happens.

What exactly gave you that error message? The email account that you were trying to send the test email to or the email account that you are having issues with?
