\I have lost my WiFi connection on my Kindle.- this happened yesterday. Up until then I had no problem. I have operated my Kindle since 2012. My devise info is B00E 1510 1483 OLFK. My computer has no problem with WIFI. Campbell XXXX

ok, can you please hold the power button on the Kindle to off for 35 seconds, then release.

Once done, turn on the Kindle, and try again to connect to the wifi network.

I think it is an E Reader with 5 way settings

Select Settings, and then select Wi-Fi Networks.

In the list of detected networks, tell me if your wireless network is listed please

There is no indication of WIFI network. There used to be a section for it

Yes, you need to follow the steps to get there.

I will repeat them

From the Home screen, press the Menu button.
Select Settings, and then select Wi-Fi Networks.

If you have problems with the steps, tell me on exactly which step

I have told you that there is no WIFI network item showing ie No section showing the heading WIFI network

Ok, remember, I need to clarify here, not assume, when the response is not clear, so please be patient and aware of this as I will not guess my way to solving your problem.

You will need to reset the Kindle to rule out the firmware as the issue.

This will remove all content and return the Kindle to new, but you cannot avoid this.

Go to Settings in the Top right, then select Settings, from the menu, then Reset device.

Let it reset, then set up the Kindle again like when you first recieved it.
