I'm ready now
hi, a simple reinstallation may fix the problem
don't worry, you will not löse your photos
can you download it & install & open
Do I need to remove the old one first?
no, you can just reinstall
(it will install over your current version)
you don't need to uninstall your current version
OK I'll give it a go
i've downloaded it but it has a cross next to it.
were you unable to install it?
it doesn't seem to install but has a cross next to it in the downloads box
can you uninstall your iphoto first
and then download it again and try to reinstall
how do i uninstall it
hold down an app’s icon in Launchpad until all the icons begin to wiggle. Click an app’s delete button (x) to uninstall the app.
do you see the icon? if no, that app can’t be uninstalled.
so we can try to reinstall again
it still has a cross next to it
the icon has gone from the launchpad but it's still on the desktop bar with a cross symbol across it
Let me opt out and redirect this question to other experts for remote assistance. If no expert opts in back, we can continue.Best regards.

Hi. I've done that and it says it's already installed and therefore won't install it again
I think the issue may have resolved itself as the copy of iPhoto I made earlier now seems to be working. I'll get back to you if it isn't
