Hi i keep getting error message on send and receive 0x800ccc0f

Customer Question

Hi i keep getting error message on send and receive 0x800ccc0f spoken to sky as internet provider told me not to do with them so rang bt as bt email address spent ages on the phone to tecs later still happening!

can you help?

i use outlook to send and receive and on receiving i get two messages then the error comes up!

no it allows two messages to be received then the error message come up with 0x8000cccof server has been interupted!

do you think it is to do with bt as i pay 1.60 a month for the email address and they have recently made changes to their site!

so there is no problem with bt. it seems there is a problem with the computer you are using, or outlook. are you using a real time protection utility like Norton or avg?

i also have a problem where internet explorer will not open up on the comp! tried downloading again i am told i have i already have it! yes i have mcafee

mcafee was switched off and still having the problem! seems to allow two emails through then the server is interrupted!

i allowed bt tecs to take control of my comp and they went through everything and told me it was the size of the emails! but if this were the case i would have had problems before its only been over this last few days!
