Which application are you referring to?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I have a heering problem and need to read subtitles on the programmes. The subitles disappeared in the middle of a programme and I have been unable to get them back.

On which programs?

Is this on the computer or on the tv?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

This is on You View, Talktalk, T.V.

Thank you for the update.

ou can turn subtitles on or off by pressing the [SUB] button on your remote control or by pressing the YouView button then going to Settings > Subtitles & Accessibility > Subtitles.

Subtitled programmes have an [S] icon next to their title in the programme guide. - See more at: http://support.youview.com/articles/Self_Service_FAQ/How-do-I-turn-on-subtitles-1370864301545/?q=how-do-i-turn-on-subtitles&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1#sthash.nwdnvQ6T.dpuf
You can turn subtitles on or off by pressing the [SUB] button on your remote control or by pressing the YouView button (it looks like a blue Y) then going to Settings > Subtitles & Accessibility > Subtitles.

Please, do not create new questions or new accounts. It looks like you created a new account and then requested me for a new question.

After you turn the Subtitles on, you may need to turn the YouView device off and on before it takes effect.

Also, only shows that have subtitles will show subtitles.
