The first thing I suggest doing is resetting the Kindle – to do this, hold the power switch for approximately 20 seconds. This will do a complete reset of the Kindle. It may take a few minutes to initialize and then it will go through the setup again. Just enter the same information, including the account information. .Please let me know if this does not work and we will continue troubleshooting this issue.
Click the "Menu" button while on the home screen on your Kindle.
Click "Deregister." Confirm that you want to deregister the Kindle, by clicking "Deregister" in the pop-up box.
Then Click "Register." Enter the email and password XXXXX your Amazon account.
