ITSib :

any error message is coming before it turning itself off ?

Customer:

no , it just shuts down completely , ie power turns off

ITSib :

ok It is due to CPU overheating ..to protect the CPU system turn off itself

ITSib :

You need to check the CPU fan first after turning on

ITSib :

it is running or not

ITSib :

if it is not then the CPU fan needs replacement ..

ITSib :

you can find any computer hardware shop for replacement fan

ITSib :

and if the fan is running ..then check any dust or blockage around it and remove

ITSib :

if after removing dust same problem then you need to apply thermal paste on the CPU and heatsink

ITSib :

after this your system will not shutdown automatically

Customer:

the fan seems to running and now that the case is open and the power motor half pulled out , the computer hasnt shut down yet , so is it just dust build up causing this

ITSib :

yes

ITSib :

it is the protection which help to minimize damage to cpu
