When may I receive reply -= I thought it would be by return.

Hi Mary. Can you tell us the brand and model # ***** your printer please and where the jam is located?

Please use the area below to reply. Please refrain from opening a new question.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Serial LGDA 21139 MG2100 series MG2150

The paper is right at the back of the entrance where paper releases when it is printed. I can hear it but not see it. The front passage

is complete for more paper to be entered but when \I do enter the paper

I can only put it so far and |I then hear the trapped paper being hit by

the new clean paper.

Mary, I'm having your question put in the Printers category.
Hopefully an expert who knows how to clear this type of jam will be available.

Can you feed a piece of A4 card through the printer.
This should then move the piece of paper stuck in it out and release the printer from the Jam.
Let me know the results please
Thank you
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I forgot to say it is a Canon printer. Sorry.

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.

I needed the printer cleared a little quicker than was happening. I did

try the cardboard but it was up against the intruding paper blockage.

I took the bull by the horns and examined the back of the machine.

~There were two holds there which I pressed and hey presto the

back of the printer opened up o me. I gently pulled the paper and

out it came in one piece. So simple I wished I had tried this earlier

but I was trying to be patient.

Thank you for your guidance and co-operation. Could somebody

tell me what the cost will be please.

I am thrilled that I managed to solve the problem. My Husband was

the chartered electronic engineer so I didn't touch anything electrical.

Since he has died suddenly I AM LOATHE TO EXPERIMENT for fear

of causing even more trouble.

I was surprised so many engineers passed me on to the next one - and

eventually you and I understood your instructions very well. It must be quite a common problem (although my first) with paper jamming but I

always feed the paper in very carefully.

Thank you so much for your guidance and patient manner.

Yours sincerely,
