Customer Question

I am a real dinosaur re_ computers tablets & smart phones so I would really appreciate your help. I was bought a tablet from my grandson more than four wks ago & have been trying to access my gmail account as I don't remember my password (I had a gmail account through my phone yes ago but have never even sent an email) I have tried to access my gmail through being sent a verification code on my mobile phone but the codes came via SMS & I didn't see them until the next day. By then I could not remember the page I was on to edit them for access to my gmail account. Most of the apps on my tablet require a gmail account. I feel like an idiot as my grandson who is in Afghanistan got me this tablet so that he could keep in touch with me but I have had no contact except tx msg via mobile phone. Can you help me to retrieve my forgotten password XXXXX gmail? Hopefully yours Isabel Lindsay.

Hello Isabel! I should be able to help you out with this situation.

When you try this website:

Jacob Mylan :

It just asks for your email account. Did you link your gmail account with any other email account?

Jacob Mylan :

Says that it can recover your account without using a SMS message. I hope this helps!

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

hi Jacob thank you for getting back to me. I will try the links you have sent. Do I have to type everything that you have sent? As I have already tried all the Google recovery links to no avail before I even contacted you. I just don't understand all the jargon and symbols. So stressed out by this. Isabel.

I know it can really get to be very confusing. Basically the last link that I gave you should be a way to by pass that SMS message. Let me know how it goes.
