Windows backup status and configuration problem.
A shadow copy could not be created for the following reason, the resource loader cache doesn`t have loaded MOI entry (0x80073boi)
backup location data(D:)
last successful backup 30-02-14 CAN YOU please advise ? ( windows vista)

Can you open an elevated command prompt successfully?

Bryan :

To open an elevated command prompt:
1 - Click "Start"
2 - Type "cmd" (without the quotes) where it says "Start Search"
3 - Wait for "cmd" to appear in the menu under "Programs"
4 - Right-click "cmd" from the menu (not from the search box)
5 - Choose "Run as administrator"
6 - Allow it to run if requested
7 - If that comes up fine, then proceed with the next step
8 - Type "sfc /scannow" (no quotes and there is a space after sfc)
9 - Let it run through and let me know the results

Hi Bryn,
Thanks for your email, my operating system is windows vista,and the browser is internet explorer.the fault started on the monthly backup 3`rd March 2014.However I have followed your instructions,and the result reads as follows. Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

Details are included in the cbs.log windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log. for example c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.

Hello Bryan,I have since had another backup with the same answer,except instead of showing (0x80073boi) it showed (0x80073acf) but not backedup successful.Can you help? regards Graham
