Hi Crosby. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.
Is that laptop connected to the internet?
Great. Since that laptop didn't come with Win 7 you may have a hard time getting drivers that work. Use the link below to go to the GeForce UK site, scroll down the page and click on Auto Detect Your GPU
and see if they can come up with some working drivers for you:
Let me know how it turns out.
It is apparent that these work `vista drivers` only my system rejects it when drivers are introduced and reading the speile on forums! there is a way by changing `inf` files ????? I thought you would maybe know!!
What happened on the GeForce site?
I'm not sure about changing an inf file but you should try the compatibility troubleshooter to see if you can get the Vista drivers to work
You'll need to have downloaded the drivers onto your laptop to do this
(as opposed to running the install over the internet)
I tried on the Geforce site and it replied unable to give me any info for my Sony Lap! `It replied: Sorry, GeForce Experience can not find a driver for this PC`.
In that case try the compatibility troubleshooter to see if you can get the drivers installed.
Thankyou for trying! I will try to get my head round these guy and maybe it will click!!
This one may take a little work.
What happens when you try the compatibility troubleshooter?
I read the links you sent. It's a little confusing to say the least.
Sorry had to go out!
I am going to try the compatibility troubleshooter now? although I think this would have been mentioned by now in other bulletins online?
I agree that it would probably have been mentioned. You can do this though: In Win7 click Start and in the search area type: device manager and open the search result at the top. Click the + sign to expand Display Adapters (since the driver isn't working it will likely already be expanded with an error icon) Right click on the adapter and select Properties. Click the Details tab and use the dropdown arrow to set the Property to
Hardware Ids - similar to the screenshot below
You will then see the information you need to enter into the search function on
this page: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers
Don't click the link that says: "Click here to scan for the latest Nvidia drivers"
It's a sales pitch.
I am sorry for the delay dukey01
I have tried various drivers but will not accept them! I may consider passing the problem to yourself and paying for your service and knowledge as it has gone beyond my capability.
As you are to have a go! I will create the link asp.
Please confirm the costing before proceeding.

With this device I can only see it reading through USB and transmit through VGA or/and HDMI. "Waiting for it to arrive"
