Hi! My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you. Let's get started!

The Kindle Fire will connect to the wireless network to download the books; just like the iPad.

Do you know your wireless network password ***** wireless network name?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Yes my network name B T Fusion and the pass code is ********** /p>

Expert:  Josh replied 2 years ago.
  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen then tap Wireless.
  2. Verify that Airplane Mode is Off.
  3. Next to Wi-Fi, tap On.
  4. Tap a network to connect to it. Enter the password

After you are connected to the wireless network, the books will automatically download after the Kindle is registered.

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Kindle is connected to network and has downloaded apps but no books,

Expert:  Josh replied 2 years ago.
Did you register the Kindle with the same Amazon account that you purchased the books from?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Hadnt thought of that ! I purchased most of the books on my account , I have just opened an account for my wife as this is for her and registered the Kindle to that . Can I change it

Expert:  Josh replied 2 years ago.
Yes, you can change it but you have to deregister that Kindle.

Swipe down from the top and select More then Device then Reset to Factory Defaults

After the restore, (it will bring it back to the factory settings) register the Kindle with your account and connect to the Wi-Fi again.
