If you see it right click on it and then click on enable that will enable the mouse pad on the laptop

Hi, I cant do anything as I can't move the arrow around.

That will be a problem.Can you look for a on/off button on the top or bottom of the mouse pad.usually its next to the yellow light you saw

If you have a usb mouse you can connect that and use too
