I have just deleted a POP mail account from my Mac book pro

Resolved Question:

I have just deleted a POP mail account from my Mac book pro and did not want to delete the files in the sent box folder which have all gone, can I recover them?

POP Stands for ( Post Office Protocol)
What POP means is download > It Effectively POP the mails off from the Server to your mail Client in this case Mac mail
Now in Mac Mail if you Remove the Account that is a POP account , you also remove the data - so the files are lost
In future if you have the option set the account up as IMAP ( this means Sync ) not download , so the 2 copies online and offline sync up
Thus keeping easier track of your data in a case like this

If you had the option to save a copy of the mail on the server there maybe some data there
What is the Second part only of the email address
Like Gmail , homtail , yahoo etc

Its a company e-mail account using Etisalat servers (UAE Network operator) the e-mail address is *****@******.***
