Can you let me know which printer model you have so I can check it does indeed have the "Verify paper size" feature?

The printer is Kodak 5210.

The Kodak 5210 does not have this feature.

So how do I solve my problem please?

Instead, you will need to try changing the printing Properties or Preferences:



  1. Make sure the paper size you loaded is the same size selected:

    1. Open the file you want to print, then select File > Print.

    2. Select your printer, then select Properties (or Preferences).

    3. Select the General tab, and change the Paper size, if needed.

    4. Click OK.
      IMPORTANT: The paper size will be reset to the default size in My Preferences after each print request unless you click the icon to Save Current Preferences.


  2. Select the Advanced tab. Under "Paper type", change the setting from Auto Select to the paper type you have loaded in the printer, then click OK.

  3. Try printing again.

My father as tried everything you have told him to do but the problem is still there. We are will not rate you until this problem is resolved because it was not worth paying the £20 if you can not resolve the problem.

If an error message on the Kodak printer (or on the computer?) is involved, please tell me the exact and full text of the error message (and where the message occurs, on the printer or on the computer screen?)

Where on the printer is the paper being placed, whose width is not being sensed? also, what size (Letter or 8 1/2 by 11 inches? or A4? or other?) is the paper?
