Hi there

Pete :

I am Pete, and I'll be happy to assist with your question today.

Pete :

What type of tablet is it?

Customer:

Samsung galaxy 2 10.1 gtp 5110

Pete :

Ok, what do you see on the screen when you try to reboot it?

Customer:

first it tell me in white letter that is a Samsung tablet then it gives a blue ring which turns into an oval with SAMSUNG IN middle then it just keepe repeating

Pete :

Ok, so it is stuck in a boot loop.

Pete :

This indicates that the firmware may be corrupted.

Pete :

Did the update complete fully, or was it interrupted?

Customer:

yes I think so.

Pete :

Ok, then something has gone wrong with the update.

Pete :

The only way to recover the tablet is to restore it to its factory settings.

Pete :

This will wipe all content that is stored on it

Customer:

which I think I have done

Pete :

You have already performed a factory restore?

Customer:

yes

Pete :

What method did you use for this?

Customer:

on button and sound up button held down together

Pete :

Then which option did you select?

Customer:

then pressed factory reset

Pete :

Ok, sometimes the reset does not work first time.

Pete :

How many times have you tried it?

Customer:

3 times

Customer:

shall I try again

Pete :

Yes, it should give a confirmation message also.

Customer:

it certainly didn't do that

Pete :

Ok, then something may be wrong with the setup files in the tablet.

Pete :

How old is it?

Pete :

Where was it purchased from?

Customer:

currys about 15 months

Pete :

All goods bought in the EU have an automatic 2 year warranty.

Customer:

so you think I should take it back then

Pete :

Yes - they will either repair or replace it for you.

Customer:

thank you
