On powering up my desktop PC, I am now getting a message : M.A.R.T. status bad, backup & replace.
How do I correct/action this? I am using a AMIBIOS (C) 2013 American Megatrends, Inc.
ASUS A85XM-A ACPI BIOS Revision 6410 at 3600 Mhz. Grateful for any help/info.

I am afraid that is not good news

Smart is the process that checks the Harddisk for errors

SMART error means that the disk may have an Issue

It may be Wise to back up any data you have to an external disk

I have seen SMART erros that last on disks for years in some case tho
