I am having trouble registering my kindle. I have tried what I believe to be my password ***** it is rejected. I tried to register a new account but that was also rejected as my email is already logged. What do I do now?

Thank you for your reply.
To reset your Amazon account password ***** use the procedure below:
1. Please go to this URL web page - click here to reset your password
2. Enter your email address registered to Amazon.
3. Type the code from the picture
4. Click Continue
5. Open your email box. There you will find email with subject " Password *****". Open that email and click on the link that will allow you to reset your Amazon password.
When done try to register your Kindle with your new Amazon account password.

At the moment I am unable to buy anything as the card registered to my account is out of date and I don't know how to get my new card recognised.

You will have to change your credit card on your Amazon account using the procedure below.
1. Visit the page below - click here
- Log into using your Amazon account
2. On the right side select "Settings"

3. Under 'Kindle Payment Settings' (first option)
4. Click 'Edit Payment Method'
5. Change your credit card details.

I have followed your instructions, but though I can change the date of my Visa card it will not let me alter the card number to my new number
Bella, because your previous credit card is out of date you will have to delete it and to register a new one. Under "Payment Settings" click "Delete a credit card" to delete the old one. When done, select "Add a credit card" then sign in (if needed) and enter the new card details.
