okay, thank you.

If you have a google account connected to the phone you can use android device manager to reset the password....https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager
then sign in with your google account and password. Then choose lock, then google will ask you to create a new password. Then you can use that password ***** unlock your screen on the S5.

If you can not do the above you will have to do a factory restore on the phone>after the restore you can sign in with your account and restore your contacts and data.> Please follow these steps>

  1. Power off your device completely.
    – if the phone doesn’t boot recovery after you complete the guide, then you have to remove its battery and re-insert it after a few seconds, then repeat the guide.
  2. Boot recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up, Home and Power, all at the same time.
  3. Release all buttons when the Galaxy S5 screen flickers and the main Recovery screen will appear.
  4. When you’re at the main Samsung Galaxy S5 Recovery Mode screen you should select ‘wipe data/ factory reset’.
  5. Confirm the process.
  6. Now you need to wait several minutes for the Galaxy S5 to be wiped.
