I have an HP6600 Officejet, bought new from Currys PC in March

I have an HP6600 Officejet, bought new from Currys PC in March this year. The ink cartridges were all replaced recently. Since then I have used the printer successfully. This morning, after printing 1 document successfully, it failed to print the 2nd document. On the screen appeared the following: There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP. After carrying out this instruction, the problem is persisting. Please can you help me.
