Which browser is your partner using?
IE / Chrome ? Mozilla
You mean google chrome
If so, we need to check the status when using Internet Explorer
no just google.co.uk
Can you check issue for IE?
how is that done
Open Internet Explorer and type https://google.co.uk
To open internet explorer, Click Start > type Internet Explorer
any issue there
Sorry you have lost me here. When i click on her IE it goes straight to the https://google.co.uk where the error message comes up, so cant find "check status" sorry about delay in my response i am having to switch between accounts.
Both of you share same laptop
Yes, i put that in my opening gambit.
Lets reset IE settings..
Please do this
how do we do that
1: Open Internet Explorer
2: From Menu Bar, ClickTools > Internet Options > Advanced
OK so far, on my account but on her account when you open IE it automatically goes to google where this error comes up
3: Click Restore Advanced settings
4: Click APPly then OK
When IE got reset it won't load google page
Please let me know the status

You don't want to reboot machine..
Just close Internet Explorere and reopen
type www.google.com and see if it works fine
thought we were on a winner then, it went to microsoft Bing though
I hope that's not an issue. But can you tell me if our issue exists or not
If you don't want bing to load please do this

Its directed to bing as earlier it had google, Bing is Microsoft search engine
Do you want to stop it
Please reply if you have any query

Hello, who is it today?
I still have the same problem on my partners account as i had yesterday.
So this morning i restored it to a previous date (11/11/2014). However after having done that she got the automatic "Windows Updates" installing which sent her back to a Norton browser, when i put www.google.co.uk in the addres bar the security certificate warning came back.
Sir, Myself FiyazYes, it will come if you revert the settings. When you restore system old settings will be restored and our applied settings will be wiped away..We need to again do that settings in-order to avoid this certification error. If you are there now, i shall do it for you.
