please let me know that if you manually play the disc, does the disc play fine and its only an issue of autoplay

open control panel...hardware and sound..auto play

i have started combifix
let the tool run
once you get a log report, close it and restart computer
after that test the dvd drive and let me know

I have completed the log report.

There is a music disk in the DVD drive but not auto started.

please click start..in the search box type device manager
open device manager
click on plus sign or arrow for dvd drive..right click on dvd drive option and uninstall
shut down computer
after 2 mins turn on computer and then check for the autoplay issue

there seems to be some advanced setting in windows that causing this as i have tried most of the known settings that could have caused the autoplay not to work
let me know what times you can be online so that i can be online at the same time to get this fixed

Click Start, and then click Run.
Type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom
Double-click Autorun and see whether a zero or a one is displayed in the Value data box.
If the value for Autorun is 1, go to step 5.
If the value for Autorun is 0, right-click Autorun, and then click Modify. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
Locate and then click the following subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Double-click NoDriveTypeAutoRun to see its value. If the value is 0xb5, the AutoRun feature for CD-ROMs is turned off. To turn on the AutoRun feature, follow these steps:
Right-click NoDriveTypeAutoRun.
Click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 91.
Select Hexadecimal, and then click OK.
Exit Registry Editor.
once done, check the autoplay issue and let me know
