Having upgraded to OS X 10.10 Yosemite I am no longer able

Resolved Question:

Having upgraded to OS X 10.10 Yosemite I am no longer able to proint with my OKI C301dn printer. On each occaision I get stopped 'filter failed.
I have deleted and reinstalled the printer, upgraded the driver, restarted the printerand iMac but no sucess. am I being an idiot or is this a known problem?
