Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer my name is ***** ***** I will be helping you with your question today.

LKT :

Are you using a USB keyboard or the built in keyboard to choose a selection?

LKT :

Does the keyboard work in normal operation of your laptop?

Customer:

It was working OK yesterday

Customer:

It was working OK yesterday I ran regcure which I do as required and when I went to use the laptop today it beeped and gave windows error recovery

LKT :

This is the screen that allows you to select safe mode, correct?

Customer:

The inbuilt keyboard

LKT :

What are your options to choose from in the Windows Error Recovery screen? What happens when the timer expires? Is the computer able to boot normally?

Customer:

OK the keyboard is now working options are startup repair system restore

LKT :

Is there an option to boot normally or resume?

Customer:

No

LKT :

Only two options? Startup repair and System Restore?

Customer:

Sorry there is a restart icon

LKT :

Choose system restore, if so.

LKT :

Oh, use the restart first.

Customer:

Its gone to the error screen again

LKT :

Ok, go ahead and choose System restore.

Customer:

It looped back and I hit restart again it seems to be starting as normal what do you think caused the laptop to do this?
