the driver for my remote control used with media centre for my monitor. computer has tv card. remote ok until i reinstalled vista premium after hard disc failure

When you reinstall the operating system like you did vista will try it's best to find all of the drivers and install them for you.

However in some cases it cannot and you will need to do it manually.

Here is how you get the driver.

Start at this link http://www.medion.com/gb/service/start/

Choose your exact product and model and that will bring you to a page which has the driver download for your model. I was not able to locate the exact one based off the information from you so it will probably be easier if you do it yourself since you have it right in front of you and can locate the proper device and model.

Make sure you choose the exact product and model you need the driver for.

Once the driver is downloaded double click it to run the installation.

That should be all you have to do.
