I have Office 365. It is set to do Automatic updates but nothing

Resolved Question:

I have Office 365. It is set to do Automatic updates but nothing has updated since September. I notice that it checks each time but the box tells me that it has never updated anything. Also I am unable to get into 'Store' because I have been told that this won't open if the updates aren't up to date. Please can you help? Marion

Thank you question, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you.
Please note, click on Reply to Expert to reply to me, a rating is only needed when we are finished.
Can you attempt to manually perform the update please Marion.
To do this, go to Control Panel, Updates and there you can manually start and install the updates. It will also tell you if any errors are occurring, which you can then tell me.
I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and fix the issue if possible.
Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself.
I will send an offer through support and should you accept I will connect and see what is going on and fix the issue. Otherwise we can continue to talk like this but I will need to ask a number of other questions and try and walk you through some steps .
Both options are 100% guaranteed by the way. Remote is just quicker and avoids the risk of you making a mistake and doing something wrong.
If you want remote click get extra help. If not simply reply to me.
Thanks,
Richard

Hello Richard. I understood that we had signed out and I had said thank you to you. You weren't able to solve the problem but it wasn't your fault. You did everything you could but Windows was corrupt. I now have a new computer so won't be needing any more help at the moment. Thank you. I have already rated your response.
