Thank you
You said that your friend hears you very faintly.
If this is the case, it means the microphone is not picking your voice up well.
If you do the Echo Test and really yell, do you hear yourself on the playback?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I don't hear anything when I yell

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
ok, it looks like its not working at all then
In Skype, click on Tools, Options
Click Audio and start talking.
Click on the Microphone drop down and choose another device.
When the correct one is selected, you will see the green bar moving (as it hears you talking)
When you have this, click Save and then do a test call
Let me know the results please
I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please.
