EXCELL CLOSES AND RESTARTS EVERY TIME ITRY TO DO A SAVE

Customer:

Try reopening Excel in Safe mode and save it then. If it saves then what you have to do is come out of safe mode into regular mode then go into excel click on File menu, click Options, Add-ins, Go button besides Manage: Com-in Add, then check if there are add-ins listed and clear the checkboxes, after that close the Excel program and restart it and and then try to save again. See if that will clear up the crash (restart) after you try to save it.

Customer:

If it crashes again, you will have to disable the add on's one at a time to see which one is causing the crash or restart. You can either disable all of them at one time like above or try one at a time to see which add on it is.

hello many thanks for your answer, how do Ifind safe mode please?

Customer:

restart your computer and click on f8 key as soon as your computer starts. you will see enter advance boot options. click on safe mode (should be the 1st one). then it will start your computer in safe mode so you can do the above instructions. then save your file again. once it saves then restart your computer but do not click on any buttons. let it start regular mode. then go into your excel file menu, click on options, add ins, go to button Manage: com in add, then check and see if there are in add ins listed there.

Customer:

if there are then uncheck the boxes one at a time and close excel after checking off one, then restart excel and try to save your file again.

Customer:

once you click on f8 and click safe mode it will not let you do a lot of things. but go ahead and open excel then open your file and then save it again. if it saves restart your computer and follow steps above.

Customer:

good afternoon. just wanted to see if you got into safe mode and saved document? If so is everything good to go now? Keep me posted.

Customer:

Good morning, checking again if you have gotten your machine in safe mode and did the instructions above?
