Hi,
My name is***** will assist you.
I am sorry to hear that happened.
This could be a hardware failure, like a bad display or connection issue that would require repair at a repair center. However if it is a firmware or system error we can try a couple of things to get it working again for you. Please try this first and let me know if it helps>>press and hold the power button for 45 seconds and then release. After the device has completely turned off, press the power button to restart your Kindle>

I have carried out your suggestion and the screen has not been restored

Expert:  Randy Computer Tech replied 2 years ago.
okay, the next option will be to plug the kindle into the wall outlet charger for 15 minutes and then while it is still plugged in press and hold the power switch for 45 seconds. If this does not help then it means the screen has failed on your kindle. Then you need to give the service department a call and explain the screen issue. 0800(###) ###-####
If your kindle is under warranty then they will replace it for you.
Please let me know if you need any other assistance.
Please take a moment to rate my service positively.
Thank you very much!
