I had a problem earlier tonight with a driver and after

hi I had a problem earlier tonight with a driver and after it installed I restarted the machine and now it restored to the point before the chap o here did the install

and which driver did you install that has uninstalled after restart

Marvell 91xx config ata device, i did buy one of these support from thsi earlier tonight already for the same error

ok..so as of now the driver is not installed on the computer

click start..in search box type device manager..open device manager

Customer:

thats already open

do you see any option listed for marvell in the list of drivers

its showing with an exclamation mark

can you pls answer me a bit qquicker

ok..right click on it and uninstall

then next i will post a link below to download and install the driver

can you do this remotely yourself by loggin in to my pc that's what the last chap did

once its downloaded, you need to double click on file to unzip it and then save it to desktop

its under unknow devices before so where should i look now

that means its properly installed now

it was completely different drivers than what the last guy installed

as I now paid twice to fix the same problem how do I get the last one refunded, do you know

i installed an alternate one

check for functionality if the device works or not

how do i check it

the other driver must be fine as well but somehow that got uninstalled which is why i tried an alternate one

shall i reboot and see what happens

I haven't a clue

windows was reinstalled and that device driver couldn't be found
