I'm not sure i understand your question. The tv is a Panasonic Viera TX-32LXD60

Can you unplug the TV from the power and wait 10 minutes
then plug the power back in, and test if the remote now works

It was the Tv firmware that crashed, and needed a hard restart. We did this just then. It will now be ok.
