From question what i understand is, you are not able to print from computer...
Does this means you are able to take direct print from printer, i mean print from printer itself
Also let me know hows printer connected to computer? (USB / Wireless)

Since connected via wireless, it should have an IP Address, do you know what it is?
I assume this would be some configuration issue since printer prints directly..
If you don't know to find printer ip address, please see below procedure
Do this on printer control panel
1: Click Menu button
2: Select Network Settings > Print Status Sheet
This prints the network info
Form printed page find IP Address of your printer. The ip address should be something like 192.168.1.33
Note: Make sure printer connects to wireless before printing status page

ok, then please follow below procedure to find printer ip address
You have to do this on printer control panel
1: Click Menu button on printer control panel
2: Move option until you see Network Settings option
Once found, Select Network Settings > Print Status Sheet
Printer prints test page which contain network information
From that you can find printer ip address
It should be something like 192.168.xxx.xxx

Yes I do have problems with your system. I can't download the site you suggested so am no further forward- I'm getting more & more stressed & beginning to think I must be thick!!! I'm 73 but try to keep up with 21st century technology & am replying on my mobile because the E mail us easier than on the computer. I'm beginning to think that bt Wi Fi is the problem cos computer loses Web page a lot. Praps I should try & install printer from beginning again ie with disc. Praps will try again tomorrow or ask my g' children who are at uni!!!

Dear Mam, I don't want to waste your time...I will better opt out to other expers who can get you in time..Meanwhile can you do this on your printer and update statusWe found printer is not connected to wifi n that's why you are not able to print ..Please do this activity on printer control panel. Below procedure helps printer to join wifi newtork..1: Click Menu button on printer control panel2: Move option until you see Network Settings option3: Click Wifi Setup > Click wifi setup wizard > Selelct your wifi network name click next > Enter wifi password ***** prompted > click next and finish wizard.. Note: You must know your Wireless Name and Password ***** printer to connect4: Once connected, come back to main Menu and print network settings page which you done prevously. Here's the procedure again:1: Click Menu button on printer control panel2: Move option until you see Network Settings option3: Click Print Status sheet 5: This time you should see printer IP Address, Please share printer ip address here.Thanks
When you didn't reply I realised you are in a different time zone so I did the Wizard Wi Fi myself & network is working correctly.

You are amost done..Now remaining thing is adding printer to your computerHere's the procedure:First we have to make sure printer talks to computer . For that lets do a ping. 1: Click Start > type cmd press enter key This would open windows command prompt window2: On command prompt window type ping 192.168.1.72 press enter key Now you should get something likeC:\Users\Fiyaz>ping 192.168.1.72Pinging 192.168.1.72 with 32 bytes of data:Reply from 192.168.1.72: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64Reply from 192.168.1.72: bytes=32 time=2ms TTL=64Reply from 192.168.1.72: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64Reply from 192.168.1.72: bytes=32 time=2ms TTL=64We are good to move forward if you get above reply instead of "Request Timed out" messagePlease continue procedure:3: Click Start > on search type devices and printers and search. Got as far as Pinging 192.168.1.72 then got: reply from same number & Destination host unreachable!!!
Can't seem to move further

Hi- I managed to follow all your instructions as far as Perform test print. At this point I was quite excited!!! Unfortunately it said "unable to perform test print because the computer isn't connected to the internet"!!! I'm gutted- soo it must be the provider I now need to talk too!!! Then hopefully the service will be improved instead of temperamental!!!
