I bought a new Epson XP322 printer in jan2015.I used the

I bought a new Epson XP322 printer in jan2015.
I used the enclosed disc to install it to my Toshiba -4yr old computer.
the printer will scan beautifully but not do any print outs direct from the computer, whether its from an e mail or a saved document .
Every time it fails to print, information comes up that " print job cannot be sent", press connection check which I have done several times without success.
The Buy Epson Ink is always highlighted. Having changed all the colours twice ( not cheap) I am now somewhat stuck!!!!!!!!

Yes I do have problems with your system. I can't download the site you suggested so am no further forward- I'm getting more & more stressed & beginning to think I must be thick!!! I'm 73 but try to keep up with 21st century technology & am replying on my mobile because the E mail us easier than on the computer. I'm beginning to think that bt Wi Fi is the problem cos computer loses Web page a lot. Praps I should try & install printer from beginning again ie with disc. Praps will try again tomorrow or ask my g' children who are at uni!!!

Meanwhile can you do this on your printer and update status

We found printer is not connected to wifi n that's why you are not able to print ..
Please do this activity on printer control panel. Below procedure helps printer to join wifi newtork..

1: Click Menu button on printer control panel
2: Move option until you see Network Settings option
3: Click Wifi Setup > Click wifi setup wizard > Selelct your wifi network name click next > Enter wifi password ***** prompted > click next and finish wizard..
Note: You must know your Wireless Name and Password ***** printer to connect
4: Once connected, come back to main Menu and print network settings page which you done prevously. Here's the procedure again:

1: Click Menu button on printer control panel
2: Move option until you see Network Settings option
3: Click Print Status sheet
5: This time you should see printer IP Address, Please share printer ip address here.

When you didn't reply I realised you are in a different time zone so I did the Wizard Wi Fi myself & network is working correctly.

IP. address is:192.168.1.72

Now remaining thing is adding printer to your computer

Here's the procedure:
First we have to make sure printer talks to computer . For that lets do a ping.
1: Click Start > type cmd press enter key
This would open windows command prompt window
2: On command prompt window type ping 192.168.1.72 press enter key
Now you should get something like

C:\Users\Fiyaz>ping 192.168.1.72
Pinging 192.168.1.72 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.72: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.72: bytes=32 time=2ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.72: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.72: bytes=32 time=2ms TTL=64

We are good to move forward if you get above reply instead of "Request Timed out" message

Please continue procedure:

3: Click Start > on search type devices and printers and search. Click on device and printers icon when it shows
4: Click Add a printer which is at top >
5: Click Add a Local Printer >
6: Choose second option (create a new port), from type of port select : Standard TCCP/IP port ,
click Next button
7: Under Hostname or Ip-address type your printer ip address (eg: 192.168.1.72 )
8: Let port name be default name.
9:
Check mark this option: Query this printer and automatically select the driver to use
click Next button
10: Share printer when prompts and complete wizard

Check if it perform test print successfully from computer. If so, we are done

Got as far as Pinging 192.168.1.72 then got: reply from same number & Destination host unreachable!!!

Can't seem to move further

Just make sure printer is on and wireless symbol shows on printer

else add printer once again to network like you done previous and check for new ip address

Hi- I managed to follow all your instructions as far as Perform test print. At this point I was quite excited!!! Unfortunately it said "unable to perform test print because the computer isn't connected to the internet"!!! I'm gutted- soo it must be the provider I now need to talk too!!! Then hopefully the service will be improved instead of temperamental!!!
