I'm afraid that is not going to work! I cannot find the map anywhere either to move from my computer or to re-download from TomTom's website! I have paid for it so I'don't see why I need to go back to the site and buy another download. Could there be a problem with the fact that I am using my son's TomTom? It is exactly the same vintage as mine ie model One second edition. When connected to the computer and logged into my account it receives normal minor downloads as updates without trouble.
You mention a 'link below' in your reply but I cannot see one! Did you perhaps forget to add it?

I have got to this point many times before! Whathappens is that it does not recognise the device linked to my email address and says do you wish to link this device to this account. Logically there should be a 'Yes' button but there isn't! Similarly there is no area on which to click, or double click, to take me forward at this point.
On the Home page there is a helpful drop down .which says 'change device' but it is greyed out so does not respond!
More simple thoughts please!
Richard - You can see from my first answer that I am using my son's device. So, no it is not the same. His suggestion, for what it is worth is to use the 'nuclear' option and press the reset button under the TomTom! Any good?
