Thanks Richard

The wireless key worked and I got access to a few book titles, but hope to learn more, but I am a slow learner.

Hello again Richard

My kindle touch is on (green light constant) but I can't get to the home page. All I see is a screen "USB drive mode" and touching everything produces no life at all. How can I get to the home screen please? I have looked on the you tube video but this problem is not addressed, I need expert advise please.

This is usually an issue with the Firmware, so I would first like you to do this please.
Remove the charger from the Kindle and hold the power button to off for 35 seconds.
Release, then connect the charger and try to turn on the Kindle.
Let me know the results please
Thank you

Many thanks. I am now looking at the instructions ON the Kindle. Lots to learn. You are making it fun which I appreciate as I give-up too quickly.
