Just purchased a rdxv45ktb recorder when trying to record

hi just purchased a rdxv45ktb recorder when trying to record from vhs to dvd on the dubbing mode press ok message comes up error can not do dubbing now

As the first step, remove the power from the recorder and wait 10 minutes
Plug the power back in, turn on the recorder and try to dub

Thanks, ***** ***** confirms the issue as the recorder laser that has failed or the controller for it.
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the recorder to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you, but this is what has faulted.
