This is usually an issue with the Firmware, so I would first like you to do this please.
Remove the charger from the Kindle and hold the power button to off for 35 seconds.
Release, then connect the charger and turn on the Kindle and tell me if you then see your books.

Thank you Richard. THey appear onCloud but not on the main kindle site and i can't open them on cloud What appears when i try is "queued". How can I eithermove the books onto the main site or open them to read?

ok, then on the Kindle, From Home, tap the Menu icon
Tap Settings, and then tap Wi-Fi Networks.
Then tap on EE-brightbox-m bk55h to connect to it.
