It is a seagate 3TB Drive connected to my SuperRouter and can be accessed via the Web

Depends on the size of OST file. You will most likely have errors trying to access it via your Private web. it's best to use and MS exchange type services to do that. Do you have your private web setup so you can access your files remotely via ftp? There is alot of open questions. I would need more answers to best help you with your issues. Thanks
