Customer Question

I dropped my kindle paper white into a bowl of water - I have drained it and left it standing on the button/connector edge. Is there anything else that I should do to get it working again?

WHITE RICE.....bury it in a bowl of white rice. If the battery is removable, remove it ASAP. Let it sit for several days until you suspect all the moisture is sucked out by the rice. DO NOT POWER ON. Best of luck. Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks - I will give it a couple of days at first.

It's very natural for people to try and turn on the device after immediately getting it wet to see if it still works. For obvious reasons that can be a bad idea. Definitely keep me posted. Thank you for using our service.
