I have a HP Slimline S3431 Desktop PC running windows Vista,

Resolved Question:

I have a HP Slimline S3431 Desktop PC running windows Vista, bought in July 2007.
There seems to be a problem between the PC and the monitor.
The message comes up saying "No Output signal" and several seconds later "Monitor going to sleep".
The screen goes blank and does not come back.
Can you advise how this can be fixed.
It has happened before and usually comes back if switched off and restarted some time later. However, this time it is not coming back.

How do you have connected the monitor cable with the PC, is it in vertical or horizontal position ?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Horizontal

That means the cable is connected with mother board. Please remove the cable and reseat then make sure it is tight then, let me know the result.
