Following your suggestion I updated my HP Pavilion Windows

Following your suggestion I updated my HP Pavilion Windows 7 to Windows 10, had trouble at first because it required a wired mouse, now sorted.
Wednesday morning computer fine and used for about 3 hours but since the afternoon I cannot get any contact, screen does not light up although the small light indicates it is working.
Please help, I need this machine to work the church finances

turn off computer and unplug power cordkeep the ON button pressed for 10 secsplug in power cord and turn on pclet me know what screen you get

restart the computer and tap the f8 key while holding down the shift keylet me know if you get any menu

no problemswhenever you are back, unplug and replug the video cable that connects the pc to the monitor and check since we both are on different time zones..let me know when we can continue on this tomorrow

Sorry for delay, forgot it was week-end when I am never around my computer.

Just did as suggested but all I got was "monitor going to sleep"

Time in UK is 9.30 am, not sure time where you are but I will be around until 15.00 (3pm)
