numer 24750467 I hve a email from Norton Technical Support regarding the installation of my subscription. I spent a long time yestgerday 2 hours to be precise. Your emailo suggests I can get in touch with one of your wonderful technical chaps who will install the new subsciption . I have already paid the fee. I have tried to use my Ipad this morning but it seays it is not possible to operate the systgem because I need another device. I have no idea what the chap means by this. I warn you I am not computer literate.........dumb is the word. Pauline G

First Pauline, not being computer literate does not mean dumb.
Are you trying to use Norton on your computer or another device?
I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you.
Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse.

Ok, please understand if someone could just take over your computer as you envision it then no computer would be safe, think of what anyone could do to your computer.
Thats why you have to just take the effort to once do the instructions so I can connect and THEN you can sit back and allow me to install Norton for you.
