Hi David,The power line adapters should be plugged into the same ring main circuit for them to work properly.Also avoid using extension leads / sockets, plug them straight into the wall sockets if possible. If possible, as a test do they work if plugged into 2 separate sockets in the same roomHope that helps.Best Regards,Richard
