Hi Brian. Can you tell me which version of Windows you are using?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Windows 10 (not on your drop-down menu).

See if you can get it to open this way: Right-click on the Start Menu button (the 4-pane Windows icon in the very bottom left corner of the screen) and select Run. In the Run box text area type: osk and click OK.

If you want to create something permanent click in the search area and type: oskYou'll then see Onscreen Keyboard at the top of the search result.Right click on it and select Pin to Start and it will create a tile icon in the start menu.If you right click and select Pin to Taskbar it will create and icon in the taskbar at the bottom of your screen. Please take a moment before leaving to provide a rating using the stars at the top of the page.
